Halloween Costumes at School: Each year we get questions about what is allowed and not allowed at school. At Laity View, we are requesting that students do not bring any costume masks or costume accessories (for example wands, weapons, light sabers) to school. Please also read the letter to parents from our Superintendent about Halloween costumes and a safe and inclusive Halloween for more information.
Halloween Boo Grams: A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Boo Grams fundraiser. It was a huge success! The Leadership Team will be donating $903 to the Friends in Need Food Bank in Maple Ridge. The Leadership Team will deliver Boo Grams to classrooms this week. Thank you again for your support to help fundraise for a very important cause in our community.
Lost and Found: Our Lost and Found is overflowing. We will continue to display items on the rack outside the office. Please take a look for items that may belong to your children. We plan to pack everything up at the end of October to donate to charity.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lawrance
