June 2nd Update to Families

Dear Laity View Families,

Last week we participated in both district cross country races.  Congratulations to all participants and thank you to our staff who volunteered at the events and thank you parents for driving your children to and from Albion Sports Complex Field.  Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.   ​

Mon., June 2:  Div. 2, 13, and 15 HUB Cycling Program (need bicycles)

Tues., June 3:  9:00 am Grade 6 Immunizations Round Two – morning

Wed., June 4:  Grade 4 & 5 Track and Field Meet at MRSS

Thurs., June 5:  Grade 6 & 7 Track and Field Meet at MRSS

Fri., June 6:  Spirit Day – Neon Day!

     12:25 Hot Lunch – Fuel Catering (pre-order required)

     2:20 pm Jumbo Freezie Friday Sales ($2 each)

     3:00 pm Neufeld Farms Orders PICK UP

     Library closed for book circulation

Parent Volunteer Appreciation Tea – Our volunteer appreciation tea is scheduled from 8:30 – 9:30 am on Tuesday, June 10^th in the Library.  This is just a small token of our appreciation to thank those of you for helping to create another successful school year at Laity View.  If you have volunteered at Laity View, watch for your invitation to come home.  If for some reason your invitation doesn’t make it home, please plan to attend.  Please R.S.V.P. by Wednesday to the Office at lv_reception@sd42.ca in order to help us know how many treats to order.

Laity View Library is Closed on Friday – Please take a good look under and behind the beds and the couches, between the cushions, and especially on your bookshelves to see if there are any Laity View materials in your home.  All books must be returned by Friday, June 13^th so Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Vernon can begin our library’s inventory.
