The year has certainly flown by and summer is now upon us – especially with the long awaited sunshine! We would like to thank all of the students, parents, teachers, and school staff for an excellent school year at Laity View Elementary! Mon., July 1: Canada Day Statutory Holiday – Office Closed
Tues., July 2: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm Office Hours (closed for lunch 12:00 – 12:30 pm)
Wed., July 3: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm Office Hours (closed for lunch 12:00 – 12:30 pm)
July 4 – August 25: Summer Vacation – Office Closed
August 26 – 30: Office open for business (regular hours, except Friday)
Tues., Sept. 3: 12:30 pm School re-opens for students – late start
- First day back for students going into Grades 1 through 7 for the 2024-2025 school year
- Students return to their previous year’s class
- Dismissal is at 2:20 pm
- New Kindergarten students will receive a letter of instruction via the parent portal regarding their first day of school.

Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is overflowing. All items are displayed in the front entrance of the school. Please encourage your children to take a look for items that may belong to them. We plan to pack up everything at the end of the day on Tuesday to donate to charity.
MyClass – All elementary June report cards for the 2023/24 school year will be published to MyClass instead of the Parent Portal. You will need a MyClass account to access your child’s report card. Please refer to this BROCHURE which is available on the district website for information about navigating the MyClass site.
