Laity View Library is Closed – Please take a good look under and behind the beds and the couches, between the cushions, and especially on your bookshelves to see if there are any Laity View materials in your home. All books must be returned so Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Vernon can begin our library’s inventory.
Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is overflowing again. We will display items in the front entrance next week. Please encourage your children to take a look for items that may belong to them. We plan to pack up everything at the end of the day on Wednesday, June 25th to donate to charity.
Ridge FYRST (Family and Youth Resource Support Team) – Ridge FYRST is visiting Laity View on the last day of school at dismissal to hand out free freezies and provide some music and fun to kick off the summer. There will be approximately 4 – 5 staff from the team to meet and greet the students including at least one uniformed police officer and a few volunteers from the Crime Prevention Unit, and maybe even Safety Bear!
MyClass – All elementary June report cards for the 2024/25 school year will be published to MyClass instead of the Parent Portal. You will need a MyClass account to access your child’s report card. Please refer to this BROCHURE which is available on the district website for information about navigating the MyClass site.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lawrance
