Wintertime is Here with Ms. Hansen singing:
Wintertime is here, my favourite time of year.
Here we are together, in wintery weather.
Wintertime is here, so spread a little cheer.
Dance and sing with laughter, be happy every after.
Let’s play in the snow, you come with me!
Let’s build a snowman, 1, 2, 3!
Climb on the toboggan, slide down the hill.
We might take a spill!

Just sit back and enjoy the fun. We’ve got a little somethin’ for everyone.
So bundle up, let the cold wind blow.
We’re gonna tell everyone we know: It’s time to go on with the snow!
There’s snow on the sidewalk, and snow on the roof!
[spoken] Oooo, sure hope my boots are waterproof!
There’s snow on the highway, and snow on the lawn!
[spoken] Snow from Snowhomish…..to Saskatchewan!
So what can you do when there’s nothin’ but snow?
Just get your friends together, forget about the weather,
And practice together to put on a show!

Brrrrr! (The Shiver Song) – Grade 2s
Here is the track without any singers so you can challenge yourself to practice without Ms. Hansen or Ms. Russell:
Here is Brrr with singers:
What can you do when your lips turn blue, and everything becomes a blur?
And what can you do when you’re frozen clear through?
Gotta shiver! Brrr!
Your nose is “froze”, not to mention your toes! You wish that you could grow some fur.
The winter storm grows as the cold wind blows!
Gotta shiver! Brrr!
Shiver in your elbows. Shiver in your knees.
Shiver in your cold, cold nose.
Shiver til you’ve gotta sneeze! Ah-choo!
Now if you’re feeling cold as ice,
well here’s some mighty bold advice:
Just find yourself a cuddly elf, or wrap your arms around yourself and….
Sh sh sh sh sh sh shiver!
Out in the street you get smacked with sleet. It’s freezing, we can all concur.
It’s never a treat when you can’t feel your feet!
Gotta shiver! Brrr!
Wish you were snug, like a bug in a rug? Well that could be what you prefer,
But just give a shrug til you find a warm hug.
Gotta shiver! Brrr!
Shiver at the top now. Shiver at the bottom.
Shiver in your fingers, too.
Just be glad that you still got ‘em!
Now if you’re feeling cold as ice, well here’s some mighty bold advice:
Just find yourself a cuddly elf, or wrap your arms around yourself and….
Sh sh sh sh sh sh shiver!
Just find yourself a cuddly elf, or wrap your arms around yourself and….
Sh sh sh sh sh sh shiver!
Brrrr!

Here is the track without any singers so you can challenge yourself to practice without Ms. Hansen or Ms. Russell:
Here is Shoveling with singers
Let’s go! Shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
We’re shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
Woh, woh, oh, we’re working the snow!
We’re not here to sing, we’re not here to talk.
We’re here to scrape and shovel, we’re doing your walk!
Once we get to workin’, there won’t even be a mutter.
When we see your snow, we shove it in your gutter!
Shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
We’re shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
Woh, woh, oh, we’re working the snow!
Give us ice or sleet, give us slush or snow,
And we can clear a path for any place you wanna go!
You won’t fall down, you won’t even slip an’ slide.
You’re always OK when you got shovellers on your side!
Shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
We’re shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
Woh, woh, oh, we’re working the snow!
If your path is clear, you got us to thank.
You can count on us, you can take that to the snow bank!
Removin’ your snow is just plain hard labour!
And when there’s too much, we just dump it on your neighbour!
Shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
We’re shovellin’, shovellin’, shovel, shovel, shovel!
Woh, woh, oh, we’re working the snow!
[Sargeant:] Shovels up! Sound off!
1 2 3 4 What’s that blockin’ your front door?
5 6 7 8 Watch that snow accumulate!
A B C D Snow as far as we can see!
W X Y Z Get that stuff away from me!
Let’s go!

Here is Snow Buddies with singers
Abominable Snowman: The three of us have been pals forever.
Sasquatch: I’m the charmer…
Bigfoot: And I’m very clever!

Sasquatch: come blizzard or not…
Bigfoot: good friends stick together.
We’re snow buddies! Snow buddies, friends through thick and thin.

Don’t worry, there’s one guarantee:
I’ve got you, and you’ve got me!
We’re snow buddies! Snow buddies, friends through thick and thin.
We’re snow buddies! Snow buddies! It’s undeniable, we’re all in!

Warm Spot in My Heart – Grade 2s
Here is the track without any singers so you can challenge yourself to practice without Ms. Hansen or Ms. Russell:
Here is Warm Spot with singers:
There’s a warm spot in my heart for my friends and family.
No matter how cold the world may seem, there’s a warmth inside of me.
There’s a warm spot in my heart, and it’s filled with love and joy.
Whenever I see the friendly smiles of every girl and boy.
Let the harsh wind whistle and blow.
Let the snow fall right from the start,
but I’ll be snug and cozy ‘cause everything is rosy,
and warm deep within my heart.
We know winters come and go, just like friends may sometimes part.
But I won’t be sad. I’ll always know: There’s a warm spot in my heart.

Wintertime is here, my favourite time of year.

Let’s build a snowman, 1, 2, 3!

Elflandia – Ms. Chiu / Ms. Chou
Welcome friends, to Elflandia,
Our little place in the sun!
Join us now in our story.
We’ll have barrels of fun!
We’re merrily making toys.
We’re stacking them up on shelves.
Yes, welcome all to Elflandia.
It’s a land that’s full of elves!
Now, at the start of every day,
We sing with voices true.
We sing our nation’s anthem,
And we’ll sing it now for you.
Elflandia, in unison we rise.
Elflandia, not far ‘cause we’re pintsize.
And if you can get to Elflandia,
You can stay, enjoy yourself.
For every one is welcome here,
As long as you’re an elf! (That’s right!”)
As long as you’re an elf!
And at the end of every day,
Beneath the sunset’s glow,
We sing again together,
As we shiver, deep in snow!
Elflandia, in unison we rise.
Elflandia, not far ‘cause we’re pintsize.
And if you can get to Elflandia,
You can stay, enjoy yourself.
For every one is welcome here,
As long as you’re an elf, (That’s right!”)
As long as you’re an elf! Elflandia!
Making Toys – Maxwell & Bianchi / Bligh & King
(Part 1) Better get busy. (6 times)
(Part 2) Gotta hurry up! (4 times)
(Part 3) Tap! Tap! Tap! (2 times)
Making toys one by one,
Making toys can be lots of fun.
If you’re sweet, an’ if you’re kind,
We have a toy for you in mind.
Every day, every night,
Working, working with all our might.
Making joy is what we do.
We’re making lots of dreams come true.
Oh, ho! Ho, ho, ho! Work and sing away!
Oh, ho! Ho, ho, ho! Make a happy holiday!
Every day, punch that clock;
Sanding, drilling an’ knock, knock, knock!
Make each toy a big surprise.
Open it right before their eyes!
All of us do our best.
Most days we never stop to rest.
We make fun, and we make joy,
Adding the love to each new toy!
Oh, ho! Ho, ho, ho! Work and sing away!
Oh, ho! Ho, ho, ho! Make a happy holiday!
(Part 1) Better get busy. Better get busy.
(Part 2) Gotta hurry up! Gotta hurry up!
(Part 3) Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!
(All) Make a happy holiday!
Silly Humans – Bianchi & Mastin / King & Johnstone
I don’t mean to gossip, or act like a clod,
But I’ve heard humans are kind of odd!
They do silly stuff. I’m not telling lies.
They choose diet soda with a big pile of fries!
Silly humans! Silly humans!
Are they real, well, what do you think?
Silly humans! Silly humans!
If half the stuff were true, by now, they’d be extinct!
We heard when they’re tired, they go for a run.
They lie for hours in blazing sun!
They sound so bizarre.
They’re from the unknown.
They line up forever just to buy a new phone!
Silly humans! Silly humans!
Are they real, well, what do you think?
Silly humans! Silly humans!
If half the stuff were true, by now, they’d be extinct!
The more I hear about them,
the more they make me nervous!
We might have to face them ‘cause we’re in Santa’s service.
We could be friends on Facebook, or maybe I could tweet one.
I know they sound outrageous, but I’d kinda like-ta meet one!
Silly humans! Silly humans!
Are they real, well, what do you think?
Silly humans! Silly humans!
If half the stuff were true, by now, they’d be extinct!
Ya think?
All A Part of the Story – Maxwell & Mastin/
Bligh & Johnstone
Sometimes it seems like it’s the hardest time of year.
Where’s the spirit? Where’s the Christmas cheer?
But Santa tells the stories of people that he’s known,
And the kindness and love that they have shown.
Logan’s at the shelter, making dinner for the poor,
And no one leaves there hungry when they knock on Emma’s door.
For people feeling lonely, Noah sings a friendly song.
And Alexis led the coat drive, bringing warmth all season long.
We believe, in our hearts we know it’s true,
Happiness can happen if we let it shine through.
People helping people on a night that’s crystal clear,
They’re all a part of the story at this special time of year.
Aiden had to journey many miles to see old friends,
And Haylee’s helping strangers, her compassion never ends.
There’s Ryan, Ted and Taylor spreading kindness everywhere,
And when people need a little lift, we know that Santa’s there!
We believe, in our hearts we know it’s true,
Happiness can happen if we let it shine through.
People helping people on a night that’s crystal clear,
They’re all a part of the story at this special time of year,
At this special time of year.

All ye lubbers and lads,
ye and I a buccaneer be.
Finest time ye ever have had,
come along with me!
Man that sword, ye cowardly swab!
Off to sail the rollicking sea.
Not a ship we would not rob.
Pirates all are we!
Come and sail the sea
under skull and bones,
or Iʼll guarantee
youʼll sink to Davy Jones! ARRR!!!
Gang way, me hearty men!
Grab your cutlass, guzzle your nog!
Ship shape, ahoy and a vast
Sail ye scurvy dog!
Blow ye winds and anchors a weigh!
A salty crew of mateys are we
Come along and sail today,
Pirates all are we!
Come and sail the sea
under skull and bones,
or Iʼll guarantee
youʼll sink to Davy Jones!
All ye lubbers and lads,
ye and I a buccaneer be.
Finest time ye ever have had,
come along with me!
Man that sword, ye cowardly swab!
Off to sail the rollicking sea.
Not a ship we would not rob.
Pirates all are we!
Pirates all! Pirates all!
Pirates all are we!
Pirates all are we!
ARRRR!!!!
Stowaway! (Vocals) Patterson/Stevenson; Geary/Mantel
Stowaway
What should we do to a stowaway?
What shall we do to make him pay today?
Toss him up and overboard,
feed him to the sharks,
heave him down the gangplank,
poke him ‘til he barks!
Stowaway! Stowaway!
What should we do to a stowaway?
What shall we do to make him pay today?
Pinch him ‘til he cries out,
listen to him whine,
tie him to the mast,
or dunk him in the brine!
Stowaway! Stowaway!
Stowaway solo:
But wait, you noble sirs,
thy good and handsome crew,
I want to be a pirate.
I want to be like you!
Oh, noble buccaneers,
please let me come along.
I’ve waited all these years
to sing a pirate song!
Stowaway! Stowaway!
What should we do to a stowaway?
What shall we do to make him pay today?
Maroon him on an isle,
or strap him to the keel,
make him walk the plank,
or hang him by his heels!
Stowaway! Stowaway! Stowaway! Stowaway!
King of the High Cs (Vocals)
Patterson/Stevenson; Geary/Mantel
King of the High C’s
He is the finest of us all,
handsome, brave and very tall.
He can fill a concert hall,
(and sounds great in a shower stall!)
Sits up in the high crow’s nest,
never taking vocal rest.
Singing, he’s the very best!
(Some might say he is possessed!)
He’s the King of the High,
King of the High,
King of the High … high “C’s”!
His voice is like a golden bird,
he sings most every single word.
Greatest voice you’ve ever heard!
(I think it’s all a bit absurd!)
Wears the finest finery,
some superb designery,
sings major and in minor-y,
but smells like a refinery!
He’s the King of the High,
King of the High,
King of the High … high “C’s”!
He is the finest of us all,
handsome, brave and very tall.
He can fill a concert hall,
(and sounds great in a shower stall!)
Sits up in the high crow’s nest,
never taking vocal rest.
Singing, he’s the very best!
(Some might say he is possessed!)
He’s the King of the High,
King of the High,
King of the High … high “C’s”!
He’s the King of the High,
King of the High,
King of the High … high, ah!

01 It’s All True with vocals
Dance Choreography VIDEO
Performed by Ms. Borghardt and Ms. Chiu
It’s All True
Did I ever tell you of a holiday?
Did you hear my story?
Did you hear me say?
At a special time of year,
On a magical midnight clear,
The age-old stories all seem new,
“Make believe” can still come true.
Did I ever tell you?
Did I ever tell you of a special night
When a jolly elf and reindeer all take flight?
If you just believe this day,
You’ll be flyin’ in Santa’s sleigh!
Then ev’rything you’ve waited for
Might come knocking at your door.
Did I ever tell you?
Who’d believe that a snowman
Would dance call by himself?
And who’d believe that a stocking
Would be filled with toys made by an elf?
Did I ever tell you of a holiday?
Did you hear my story?
Did you hear me say?
At a special time of year,
On a magical midnight clear,
The age-old stories all seem new,
“Make believe” can still come true.
Did I ever tell you?
Did I ever tell you?
Did I ever tell you?
IT’S ALL TRUE!!!
02 I Could Fly! with vocals
DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO
Performed by Ms. Bligh and Ms. Maxwell
I Could Fly!
Marty:
Ev’ry night I close my eyes,
In my dreams I see,
Lifting up into the skies.
Hey, look! It’s me! It’s me!
All:
I could fly if you believed in me.
I could fly, just watch and see!
I’d go soaring through the atmosphere,
Part the clouds, into the clear.
Just give me a chance,
Only “cans” not “can’ts.”
If you’d let me try, I could fly!
Flight Attendant: (spoken)
Ladies and gentlemen, we are next in line for
Takeoff. Please fasten your seat belts and ignore
the moose. After all, we all know that mooses can
not fly! Have a nice day.
Marty: (spoken forlornly) It’s moose, not “mooses!”
Marty: (sung)
Ev’ryone would stop and stare.
I’d be flying free.
Floating through the winter air.
Hey, look! No gravity!
All:
I could fly if you believed in me.
I could fly, just watch and see!
I’d go soaring through the atmosphere,
Past the clouds, into the clear.
Just give me a chance,
Only “cans” not “can’ts.”
If you’d let me try, I could fly!
Marty: (spoken) Come on, let me try!
All: (sung) I could fly!
03 Roots with vocals
DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO
Performed by Ms. Johnstone, Ms. King and Ms. Bianchi
Roots
Keep your roots planted in the ground.
No need to wander, no need to walk around.
Roots will hold when the north wind blows.
Roots will never ever let you go.
Roots! You’ve got to have roots!
Who wouldn’t want roots?
You’ll be respected. Come on,
Roots are better than boots!
For if you’ve got roots
You’ll stay connected!
So, dig your toes way down deep.
And put your worries fast asleep with roots!
No need for commutes!
And you’ll be sound on solid ground
‘Cause you’ve got roots!
Tree 1: (spoken)
Kickline, everybody!
Bring it on home!
Tree 2: (spoken)
We can’t do a kickline!
We’ve got roots!
All: (sung)
So, dig your toes way down deep.
And put your worries fast asleep with roots!
No need for commutes!
You’ll be complete with buried feet,
‘Cause you’ve got roots!
(spoken) You’ve got roots!

05 A Time for Miracles with vocals
Dance Choreography Video
Ms. Maxwell, Ms. Bianchi
A Time for Miracles
This is a time for miracles.
On ev’ry Christmas eve
Dreams can come true
For me and for you,
And those who do believe.
When it’s deep into December,
And the world is dark and cold,
That’s the time that we remember
The stories that we’ve been told.
On a dark and wint’ry night,
Light can suddenly appear.
Anything is possible
At this special time of year.
This is a time for miracles.
On ev’ry Christmas eve
Dreams can come true
For me and for you,
And those who do believe.
Well, just maybe it could happen;
Maybe if we really try.
Miracles can surely happen,
And maybe a moose could fly!
Marty: (spoken)
What’s that you say? You believe I can fly? You’re right!
This IS the season when dreams CAN come true!
All: (sung)
This is a time for miracles.
On ev’ry Christmas eve
Dreams can come true
For me and for you,
And those who do believe.
Marty the Regular Moose
Dance Choreography Video
Performed by Ms. Leier and Ms. Cacchioni
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.
But we don’t think you know,
The moose that is in our show
Marty the regular moose, didn’t have a shiny nose
And if you ever saw it, you wouldn’t say it glows.
All of the other animals, used to laugh and roll their eyes,
At the ridiculous notion, that a common moose could fly!
Then one very special eve, when dreams do come true.
Marty ran with all his might and became a flying moose that night!
Miracles can surely happen,
Everyone was proud to see
Marty the regular moose
Flying into history!

I Need A Vacation
Mrs. Luchi/Ms. Lockhart & Mr. Mitchell
(Solo)
Please somebody help me, I don’t know where to turn.
Reading, writing, ‘rithmetic, there’s just so much to learn.
The tension is still mounting. I think I’m gonna crack.
Gotta take a long recess, and never, ever, ever turn back!
(All)
I need a vacation!!
Help! I need a vacation, now, it just can’t wait.
Help! I need a vacation to get my head on straight.
School is cool, but I gotta let loose, I’m tired of the same old grind.
Help! I want it! Help! I need it! I’m goin’ out of my mind.
Help! I need a vacation, time to hit the road.
Help! I need a vacation, my brain’s on overload.
Tests and grades and a lot of homework, the pressure’s really getting to me.
Help! I ask you! Help! I beg you! Somebody set me free.
I could hit the road, I could take a trip, I could fly way up in the sky.
I could go to the beach take a little dip and kiss this work goodbye.
I could walk, I could run, I could ride my bike, go swimming in the swimming pool.
I could go to camp, I could go on a hike
Teacher: You could all go to summer school.
All: No! We need a vacation!!
Repeat beginning and add: I need a vacation! Help!

Don’t need a big vacation, don’t need a fancy trip.
Don’t need to visit Aunt Louise, or sail upon a ship.
Just give me space with water all stocked with perch and bass.
Gonna make a date with a little bait and we’ll watch vacation pass.
(chorus)
Gone fishin’ – got my favorite pole. Gone fishin’ – down at the swimming hole.
And I’m wishin’ the world will let me be and we could be together fishin’ you and me.
We could find our favorite spot and camp there day and night.
We’ll cast away our lines all day and hope we get a bite.
If ya want to reel a catch in, just hold your line real firm.
Gonna take a hook and then we’ll look for the perfect slimy worm. (yuck!)
(sing chorus again and add:)
And we could be together fishin’ you and me.
And we could be together fishin’ you———– and———
Fisherman 1: You know – the worst day of fishing is still better than the best day of school!
All: me————–.
A Letter From Camp
Mrs. Mantel & Mr. Medeiros
Solo 1
Dear mom and dad, I wish I felt better.
Just one day away from home and I’m writing you this letter.
It’s not that I am homesick, or not thankful for what you’ve done,
But you said summer camp would be a lot of fun.
But you didn’t say hey! ALL: HEY!
How ’bout going to computer camp? A pretty nerdy computer camp.
On bytes we dined, I’m going out of my mind.
Boring – memory not worth storing.
A little typing is a risk, and I think I slipped a disk,
I’m not happy at computer camp. I just want to come home.
Parent: Dearest child of ours: Due to your obvious unhappiness, and that unfortunate incident
with a floppy disk, we think that maybe you should try another camp. Yours lovingly….
The Parents.
Solo 2
Dear mom and dad, I’m still not feeling better.
Just one day away from home and I’m writing you this letter.
It’s not that I am homesick, or not thankful for what you’ve done,
But you said summer camp would be a lot of fun.
How ‘bout going to a space camp? Way out in outer space camp.
I’m not an eagle scouter but the food is made of powder.
Floating – in a little capsule.
It’s just a little hunch, I’m about to lose my lunch.
I’m not happy at space camp. I just wanna come home.
Parent: Dear child of ours: Too bad you’re sad. Stamp out new campout. Must explore one
camp more. Lovingly yours…… The Parents.
Solo 3
Dear mom and dad, I’m still not feeling better.
Just one day at one last camp and I’m writing you this letter.
It’s not that I am homesick, or not thankful for what you’ve done,
But you said summer camp would be a lot of fun.
How ‘bout going to health camp? A healthy kind of health camp.
The sprouts as a diet are causing me to riot.
Donuts – I need lots of donuts.
No more exercise, give me burgers and some fries.
I’m not happy at health camp.
I’m not happy at space camp.
I’m not happy at computer camp. I just wanna come home!
All 3 soloists
Yours truly, the child.
Are We There Yet?
Mr. Muir & Mr. Geary
Waking up at dawn to get an early start. Just not my idea of having fun.
Loading up the trunk, getting ready to depart. Our family vacation has begun.
Two miles out of town and mom forgot the map. Sister wants to blast the radio.
Dad hit a bump, spilled hot coffee on his lap. And little Bobby Joe has got to go.
Chorus:
Traveling down the road, hauling quite a load.
Seeing things that no one could forget.
Miles and miles of fun just heading for the sun
When someone always yells
Sister 1: Are we there yet?
Father: Now kids, I want you asleep in 10 seconds. Don’t make me pull this car over. I’m pulling
over, I’m pulling over.
Two days in the car, played every game we know. When it comes to songs, we sang them all.
Counted license plates from Maine to Idaho, sang 40 thousand bottles on the wall.
Got to Yellowstone, got bitten by a bear. Then Old Faithful just refused to blow.
Had a flat in Omaha and dad forgot the spare, and little Bobby Joe still has to go!
(sing chorus again)
Sister 2: Mom, he’s touching me!
Mother: Now Joey, stay on your side!
Bobby Joe: But moooooooooooom!!!
Gave my sister quite a scare, mother’s pulling out her hair.
Daddy’s looking kind of spent, Bobby Joe – he finally went.
Now we’re running out of gas, almost wish I was in class.
Sister 1: What am I saying?!
Then someone finally yells – “We’re here!” Yahoo!
I Don’t Dance
Mr. Muir & Mr. Geary
Hey batter batter, hey batter batter swing
I’ve got to just do my thing
Hey batter batter, hey batter batter swing
I’ll show you that it’s one in the same: baseball, dancing, same game
It’s easy: step up to the plate, start swingin’
I wanna play ball now, and that’s all. This is what I do.
It ain’t no dance that you can show me.
You’ll never know if you never try.
There’s just one little thing that stops me every time. Yeah
Come on! I don’t dance. I know you can! Not a chance. No.
If I could do this, well, you could do that.
But I don’t dance.
Hit it out of the park! I don’t dance.
I say you can. There’s not a chance. Oh!
Slide home you score, swingin’ on the dance floor.
I don’t dance, no.
Hey batter batter, hey batter batter swing
I’ve got to just do my thing
Hey batter batter, hey batter batter swing
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
Two steppin, now you’re up to the bat. Bases loaded do your dance.
It’s easy: Take your best shot, just hit it.
I’ve got what it takes, playin’ my game,
so you better spin that pitch you’re gonna throw me
I’ll show you how I swing.
You’ll never know if you never try.
There’s just one little thing that stops me every time.
Come on! I don’t dance. I know you can! Not a chance.
If I could do this, well, you could do that.
But I don’t dance.
Hit it out of the park! I don’t dance.
I say you can. There’s not a chance.
If I could do this, well, you could do that.
But I don’t dance.
Hit it out of the park! I don’t dance.
I know you can! Not a chance.
If I could do this, well, you could do that.
But I don’t dance.
Hit it out of the park! I don’t dance.
I know you can! Not a chance.
Slide home you score, swingin’ on the dance floor.
I don’t dance, noooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

VERSE 1
Hey, there hi there ho there, it’s a Disney kind of day
Glad to see your smiling faces as we pass along the way
There’s lots of fun and laughter here a-waiting just for you
All you have to do is make a wish, and watch your dreams come true

You’re in wonderland. It’s magic!
Clap your hands and tap your feet and shout a big hooray !
Mickey and his friends are calling out your name to join the Disney parade!
CHORUS
Dancin’ a catchy rhythm
Singin’ a happy song
Playin’ together on a holiday
You’ll soon be
Dancin’ a catchy rhythm
Singin’ a happy song
Playin’ together on a holiday

1) Jingle Bugs and Jolly Old St Nicholas – All Kindergarten Classes
Jingle Bugs
Welcome to our show, us bugs are here today,
To dance and buzz and glow, and sing and flap and play!
Bells on stingers ring, Making sprits bright,
What fun it is to watch us sing these buggy songs tonight! Oh
Jingle Bugs Jingle Bugs Bees and fleas and flies!
Crickets, termites, soldier beetles, Hornets, Dragonflies!
Jolly Old St Nicholas
Jolly Old St Nicholas, listen carefully
There’s a buggy infestation in the Christmas tree.
Mosquitos and boll weevils are nestled with the lights,
Candy canes and angels are hanging with termites.
Our tree is so beautiful, twinkly and green.
If you look closely you’ll see the bees serving their Queen,
Santa we know you have an important job to do,
But, please Santa, don’t squish us under your shoe.
- We’re Hungry! – Mrs Chiu/Mrs Hayhoe and Mrs. Borghardt
WE’RE HUNGRY! WE’RE HUNGRY!
We’re hungry! We’re hungry! We’ll eat most anything.
We never get enough to chew and that’s why we can’t sing!
We’re hungry! We’re hungry! We’re hungry through and through.
We eat our way through Christmas, that’s just like all of you! (BURP)
Eatin’ our way through Christmas just like all of YOU!
We don’t need any cookies, or fruitcake with our lunch.
Just give us each a two by four, or a table leg to much.
We might be in your Christmas tree or maybe in your wall.
And we’ll just keep on eating, while you keep deckin’ the halls!
Eatin’ our way through Christmas just like all of YOU!
WE’RE HUNGRY! WE’RE HUNGRY!
WE’RE HUNGRY! HUH!
- A Tree Without Lights – Mrs. Johnstone, Ms. Bianchi and Mrs. Kinnee, Ms. Labossiere
What could be sadder that a tree without lights?
It won’t feel like Christmas in the dark, gloomy nights.
We can’t think of any more sorrowful, sad sights,
Than celebratin’ Christmas with a tree, a tree without lights.
Salt without pepper, or Mac without Cheese,
A tree without lights is like a dog without fleas!
Chips without salsa, or zig without zag,
The 1st of July without flyin’ yer flag!
A burger without fries, or Lewis without Clark,
A bow with no arrows, or Noah in a rowboat instead of his ark….
What could be sadder than a tree without lights?
It won’t feel like Christmas in the dark, gloomy nights.
We can’t think of any more sorrowful, sad sights,
Than celebratin’ Christmas with a tree, a tree without lights.
Poor ol’ tree, a tree without lights! Hoooooo.
- Let Your Best Light Shine – Mrs. Dwulit and Mrs. Mastin
Light up the tree, light up the earth,
shine through the branches for all you’re worth!
And just shine, shine, shine! Let your best light shine!
Christmas is here, be of good cheer,
Let your heart sparkle, smile ear to ear!
And just shine, shine, shine! Let your best light sine!
Red lights mean “Stop worrying so”
Green lights mean “Let your spirit go!”
White lights, blue, bright silver and gold,
They warm your heart, no matter how cold.
One small light to get things started
Add one more, then two, then tree.
Like the starts light up the heavens,
We can light up our tree! You’ll see!
Light up the tree, light up the earth,
shine through the branches for all you’re worth!
And just shine, shine, shine! Let your best light shine!
Come on, shine, shine, shine! Let your best light shine!

Rap on the Rooftop
Yo! Up on the roof top the reindeer pause,
Out jumps rappin’ cool Mister Claus.
Down through the chimney with lots of toys,
All for the itty, bitty girls and boys.
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Yo! Up on the roof top,
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick!
Yo! First comes the stocking of little Nell;
Oh, dear Santa, please fill it well.
Give her a Barbie, a dress and jeans,
T-shirt in yellow, pair of socks in green.
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Yo! Up on the roof top,
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick!
Yo! Next comes the stocking of little Will;
Let’s hope Santa Claus fits the bill.
Please, a computer and model car,
Bike painted purple and a string guitar.
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Yo! Up on the roof top,
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick!
Yo!
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitz-en,
But do you recall?
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
And all of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say,
Rudolph with your nose so bright,
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?
Then how the reindeer loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nose Reindeer
You’ll go down in history.
(Music Break)

Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas,
Lean your ear this way;
Don’t you tell a single soul
What I’m going to say,
Christmas Eve is coming soon;
Now you dear old man,
Whisper what you’ll bring to me;
Tell me if you can.
When the clock is striking twelve,
When I’m fast asleep,
Down the chimney broad and black
With your pack you’ll creep;
All the stockings you will find
Hanging in a row;
Mine will be the shortest one;
You’ll be sure to know.
[INTERLUDE]
Now Johnny wants a pair of skates;
Susy wants a dolly
Nellie wants a story book,
She thinks dolls are folly.
As for me, my little brain
isn’t very bright.
Choose for me, old Santa Claus,
What you think is right
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas,
Lean your ear this way;
Don’t you tell a single soul
What I’m going to say,
Christmas Eve is coming soon;
Now you dear old man,
Whisper what you’ll bring to me;
Tell me if you can.
Reindeer Boogie in the style of Trisha Yearwood (HD)
Reindeer Boogie Lyrics
Santa had a cup of coffee
And he ate a little snack
Threw his old pack right over his back
Opened the windows of his little shack
And shouted “Oh Dasher and Dancer
Vixen and Blizten come on here
We’re gonna get a-goin’ and spread some cheer
So limber your legs and sharpen your hooves
‘Cause tonight is the night
We’re gonna jump on the roof
Well the reindeer they were so proud and grand
Take a little trip right over that land
They jumped right into their proper place
To get hepped up for that midnight race
Ol’ Santa he shook off the ice and snow
Boarded his sleigh and then yelled “let’s go”
All the little toys were happy too
Because they were so bright and new
A little piano then started to play
Santa began to swing and sway
Thought it was a toy drum startin’ to beat
But he found it was the rhythm of the reindeer feet
The reindeer boogied in the middle of the road
Tonight they will have a mighty big load
Boogie to the left now boogie to the right
Do the reindeer boogie this Christmas Eve night
The reindeer boogied in the middle of the road
Tonight they will have a mighty big load
Boogie to the left now boogie to the right
Do the reindeer boogie this Christmas Eve night

Mariah Carey – santa claus is coming to town
You’d better watch out
You’d better not cry
You’d better not pout
I’m telling you why
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
He’s making a list
He’s checking it twice
He’s gonna find out
Who’s naughty or nice
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
So you better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I’m telling you why
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
(Music)
The kids in girl and boyland
Will have a jubilee
They’re gonna build a toyland
All around the Christmas tree
So you better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I’m telling you why
Santa Claus (is comin’ to town)
Santa Claus (is comin’ to town)
Santa Claus is comin’
Santa Claus is comin’
Santa Claus is comin’
To town
