Golden Ears Fine Arts is busy preparing for our upcoming winter musical, Arctic Animal Antics!
All primary divisions are involved, including the 3/4 classes. Please check back here for updates.
Costume Information:
Beauchesne, Birch/Sedman, and Leier’s classes:
Students need to dress in bright solid colours, with winter accessories (scarves, toques, etc.) Plain shirts or dresses – try to avoid logos/designs. They should wear these for our dress rehearsal and show dates (Dec 15, and either December 16th or 17th, depending on what team they’re on).
Cacchioni/Campbell, Qually/Campbell, Cruickshank, Neufeld:
They are polar bears. We are aiming for white clothing, preferably all white (top and bottom) but white top and dark pants would suffice. Again, hoping for no logos (turn shirts inside out if need be). We will be making polar bear headbands at school for them to wear. Costume base is due into school by Friday, Nov. 21st. Costumes should arrive in labelled bag and need to be kept at school until the show is over.
Dowler, Johnstone, Bianchi, Chiu:
They are arctic terns. We are aiming for a mix of grey and white clothing. We are hoping for no logos (turn shirts inside out if need be). We will be making arctic tern headbands at school for them to wear. Costume base is due into school by Friday, Nov. 21st. Costumes should arrive in labelled bag and need to be kept at school until the show is over.
Bligh, Montgomery, Urban:
They are penguins. We are aiming for black and white clothing. Hoping for no logos (turn shirts inside out if need be). We will be making penguin headbands at school for them to wear, and we also be providing a bow tie for each student. Costume base is due into school by Friday, Nov. 21st. Costumes should arrive in labelled bag and need to be kept at school until the show is over.
Ortlepp, Rowbotham (Maxwell):
They are seals. We are aiming for full brown or full gray clothing. Hoping for no logos (turn shirts inside out if need be). We will be making seal headbands at school for them to wear. Costume base is due into school by Friday, Nov. 21st. Costumes should arrive in labelled bag and need to be kept at school until the show is over.

Doors open at 12:30 for all performances. Admission is by cash donation to our Fine Arts/Musicals program.
