Weekly Memo January 20-24, 2025

January 20, 2025 By Tanya Dailey

Congraulations to all of our basketball teams who are off to a great start for the season.  A huge thank you to Mrs. Matlock, Ms. Byrne, Mrs. Dinsa, Mrs. Wakefield, Ms. Lovell, Mr. Davis and Mrs. Deshield (Parent Volunteer) and Mr. Moore (Parent Volunteer) who have voluntered to coach this season.

Donations
Over the past week a few families have come in to the office inquiring how they can submit a cash/cheque donation to help substidize students for upcoming fields trips (Grade 7 Celebration, Aquarium, etc…) or to make a donation to specific school programs or the repair of oour netplex.

If you are interested in donating, please either contact tanya_dailey@sd42.ca or complete the following form Cash_Donation_Form_Fillable and return it to the office.  All donations over $25.00 are eligible for a tax receipt.

Colder Weather

A reminder to please ensure that your child comes to school
dressed for the colder weather as all students are expected
to go outside during recess and lunch.

Student Lates

It is being observed that we have an increasignly number of students arriving late to school each day.  A reminder that the warning bell rings at 8:25 am and a second instructional bell rings at 8:30 am.  It is important that all students arrive prior to the 8:30 am instructional bell.

When students arrive late, not only does this disrupt the clasroom learning environment but students also miss important morning transitions and valuable instructional time.

Please try and have your child arrive on time!
