🌟 Weekly Affirmation
Shine with Empathy
“Understanding others makes our light warmer. Empathy connects hearts and minds.”
Families are encouraged to discuss the weekly affirmation at home with their child(ren).
Caution- Slippery Parking Lots
With the cooler temperatures in the mornings our front and back parking lots are very slippery. Please take extra care.
Families are reminded to not walk behind the vehicles in the back lot and to walk along the pathway inside the fence.
String Club
A reminder that a new String Club is starting up last week and will meet on Tuesday’s from 2:25-3:00 pm. Students in Grades 2-7 are invited to come to Mrs. Manji’s classroom (Room 1750). Students are able to work on any project that has to do with String, some ideas are knitting, crocheting, needle point, cross stitch, rug hooking, embrodary, macrome, etc…). Although we are accepting donations for supplies all students are responsible to bring their own materials.
Morning Activities
If your child is attending Breakfast Club in the morning, a reminder that entry is at the back of the school through North-west doors (the doors by the recycling bins). Breakfast club runs from 8:00 am – 8:25 am, where at 8:20 am a grab and go is given.
Games Club- We were hoping to run games club in the multi-purpose room from 8:00 am – 8:25 am however, due to staffing shortages, we are unable to run it on a consistent basis. If games club is open then teh outside door to the multi-purpose room will be propped open. If games club is canceled for that morning, then a sign will be placed on the outside door.
