We hope everyone had a fantastic summer and we hope you had the opportunity to spend lots of time together as a family. The staff at Albion are very excited about beginning the 2024/2025 school year.
First Day Back
Once again as communicated through the Albion 2024/2025 calendar that was sent out in May, the hours of instruction for students in Grades 1-7 on Tuesday, September 3rd are from 12:30 pm- 2:20 pm. The Albion 2024/2025 calendar can be found on the Albion Elementary website under the Calendar tab across the top of the page.
All new students will report to the gymnasium and then will be placed in age-appropriate classes.
Kindergarten 2024/2025 students and parents are invited to attend an OPTIONAL drop in from 1-2 pm on September 3rd. If your child will be attending, you will need to RSVP at 604-463-4848, or by sending an email to tanya_dailey@sd42.ca so that our Kindergarten teachers can plan accordingly. Gradual entry will begin for all kindergarten students on Wednesday, September 4th. A separate email will be sent to all kindergarten families via the parent portal.
School Supplies for 2024-2025
As shared in the spring with families, School supplies for the 2024/2025 school year will be all purchased by classroom teachers through bulk ordering. Families will receive a notice, via the parent portal, over the next few days requesting a payment of $55.00 per child. If you have any questions or concerns, please ensure you reach out to Mrs. Dailey.

Once again Mrs. Matlock is collecting summer time photos to share during our 1st assembly. If you would like to have your child included in this slide show please send ONE photo per child to Mrs. Matlock at sarah_matlock@sd42.ca by the evening of Monday, September 2nd.
