🎃 Halloween Costumes – Guidelines & Reminders
As Halloween approaches, please keep these important guidelines in mind when selecting costumes:
- Be Kind & Respectful
Costumes should not mock or demean anyone’s gender identity, culture, race, religion, age, or ability. Avoid stereotypes or offensive themes. - Be Thoughtful & Safe
No costumes depicting violence, alcohol, or drugs. Replica weapons (e.g., toy guns, knives) are not allowed at school.
Additional Notes:
- Inflatable or multi-piece costumes may get damaged or lose parts during the day. Please plan accordingly.
- We have students with nut allergies. If your child brings Halloween candy, please avoid treats containing nuts and limit the amount brought to school.
Let’s work together to keep our school safe, inclusive, and fun for everyone!
🏫 PAC News
- Halloween Family Dance – Friday, October 17, 6–8 PM
- Tickets available at the door starting at 6:00 PM
- Cash-only concession available
- Students must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be left unattended
- Costumes must be family-friendly (not too scary); no full-face masks
- All costumes must follow district policies
- Costume contest with prizes for those who wish to participate!
