HEALTH AWARENESS
We are continuing to practice Health Awareness this year for everyone entering our school – this includes staff, students, and visitors. Health awareness includes checking regularly for any symptoms of illness (including, but not limited to, COVID-19 symptoms) and staying home if ill.
PHOTO RETAKE DAY
Not happy with your child’s photo? Not to worry! October 14th is photo retake day.
If you haven’t seen your child’s original photos yet, please contact photo expressions directly at: studio@photoexpressions.ca so they can provide you with your access code.
You do not need to register for photo retakes, simply send your child to school with their Express Proof with the retake reason filled in or send your child with a note if you would like the photographer to follow any specific instructions.
SOCIAL MEDIA AWARENESS
ERASE is offering Student Sessions with Parents (after school hours) on Social Media Awareness. The sessions will cover online Social Media Awareness, Digital Footprints and Cyberbullying. They will take place on November 15, 2022, 6:30pm to 7:30pm and November 30, 2022, 6:30pm to 7:30pm

PARENT PORTAL CONSENT FORMS
Please log in to the parent portal and complete all consent forms. Walking field trip permissions and various photo permissions are used by teachers throughout the year. We appreciate having these forms completed.
ATTENDANCE
If you know that your child is going to be late or absent from school, please let us know through either the parent portal, by calling us at 604-467-5551 or by emailing mre_reception@sd42.ca. If you know your child will be absent multiple days in a row you can enter them all at once so that you do not need to update it each day.
LOST AND FOUND
Please ask your child to check the lost and found! Consider writing your child’s name inside their belongings so that they can be returned if lost.
