Parents and Guardians,
I’m writing to let you know that due to the low attendance at our school and the deepening concerns about coronavirus, Kanaka Creek will be dismissing early for spring break.
Our spring break holiday will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The school will be open tomorrow morning so that students can come collect their belongings. Staff will remain at the school in the morning until all students have left. In light of this early dismissal, student-led conferences will be moved to a date after the break.
While I know this news is sudden, I hope you will understand the unique circumstances that have made this change in the timing of our break necessary. I will be in touch in the future to provide you with information about our return date.
