GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEUR FAIR AND SALE FOR KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 6– Wednesday December 5th 8:45-11:45 in the gym (closed at recess). As part of Career Education, all grade 7 students (and grade 6s in combined 6/7 classes) in term one are becoming entrepreneurs. They have learned about money management, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, with the culminating activity being a showcase of the businesses they’ve created where students sell their products to students and adults in the school. Ten percent of all profits will be donated to charity.
Students in the school from kindergarten to grade 6 will come to the gym on this day with their teacher (and possibly buddy class) to look at and purchase the products these students have made. Products include jewelry, games, bath products, Christmas decorations, and art with prices ranging from $1-$5. Parents are also welcome to attend. The creativity and hard work demonstrated by our grade seven students is very impressive. (Many of the products will be displayed in the case as you enter the school.)
Mark your calendars and remember to send your child to school on Wednesday December 5th with some money to spend.
