Here is the explanation:
Main Wall:
This concept is inspired by BC’s flag. The large sun is at the base (setting in the West), the ocean water is between the sun and land (the points of both the sun and the ocean drawing the eye upward). The salmon are returning from the ocean to spawn, swimming up the waterfall to the waiting grizzly. The rolling coast leads upward to BC’s provincial flower, the dogwood, and the heart of Glenwood Elementary.
Left pillar:
Carrying on from the centre image, this would show the salmon journey continuing from the ocean as they swim upstream (salmon being integral to life in BC and life for grizzlies).
Right pillar:
This carries on from the centre image and shows the rolling coastal hills leading to the Golden Ears.
