Dear Eric Langton families,
As construction of the new school building enters its final stages, we want to share an important project update regarding site access.
Beginning March 16, 2026, access from 227th Street to the school site will be temporarily closed for approximately three weeks, with reopening anticipated by April 7, 2026. (Temporary access closure in yellow on the map below.)

This closure is needed to allow the contractor to complete critical work required to support substantial completion of the new building and prepare the site for occupancy. During this time, crews will be completing several key components of the project, including:
- installation of site lighting
- installation of storm drainage structures
- ground preparation and backfilling
- installation of a vehicle gate
- curb and sidewalk preparation
- asphalt paving and line painting
- landscaping
We know that temporary access changes are inconvenient and appreciate your patience and understanding as this important work is completed. These final steps will help bring the new school closer to opening and support a safe and functional site for our students, staff, and families.
