Welcome email and PAC invite

Dear Parents,

Welcome to c̓əsqənelə Elementary School!

I am very much looking forward to working with you, and your child(ren), as we begin our journey to create this new school community together!

Our school building is quickly taking shape and the construction is so far proceeding on schedule. I will now be sending out email updates until September when we are able to use the district Parent Portal like other schools.

To begin planning for our new school I would like to set up some initial events for a smooth school transition.

1. Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) planning meeting Thursday May 2^nd at 6:30-8pm at Kanaka Creek Elementary Library. Parents are automatically considered to be part of the PAC once their child(ren) are registered at c̓əsqənelə!

2.  Welcome to Kindergarten Event the evening of Wednesday May 8^th from 5-6:30pm at Golden Ears Elementary. This is event is open to all NEW kindergarten students and their families (entering kindergarten this September).
3. Welcome to c̓əsqənelə “Power Hours” for current students at Albion Elementary gym. Students are invited to come meet Mr. Wheatley, play some dodgeball games, and learn more about what to expect at their new school in September.
   1. Grade 1 & 2– Tuesday May 28^th ,3:30–4:30 (Albion Elementary Gym)
   2. Grade 3 & 4–Wednesday May 29^th ,3:30–4:30 (Albion Elementary Gym) 
   3. Grades 5,6, 7– Thursday May 30^th ,3:30 – 4:30 (Albion Elementary Gym)
