Dear Families,
Thank you for the flexibility and relaxed manner in which everyone handled the first week back to school at our temporary school sites. Despite our unique context the students looked to be having a lot of fun and were becoming more and more comfortable as the week wore on. We now only have two weeks left until we can move into our fabulous new school!
I confirmed late last week that the construction timeline for our new school is still on track and the first day for students at c’usqunela will be Wednesday September 25th. They are making excellent progress and our new classroom furniture is to be delivered and placed in classrooms beginning Monday!
Details about what to expect this week, important upcoming dates, and a reminder of our school’s contact information are all listed below. We are looking forward to another exciting week with the kids!
Sincerely, Mr. Wheatley

- Our Temporary School Office(s) & Phone Number(s):
For these first three weeks we will have secretaries working both at Albion and Webster’s Corners schools. Mrs. Whittington will work in the main Albion Office and Mrs. Ulriksen will work out of our temporary office space across from the main Webster’s Corners office. If you need to contact us with questions or absence/late information either:
- Call our temporary office phone number … 466.6231
- Email our school at cqe_reception@sd42.ca. Our school email can also be found under the link on our school website.
- In the case of an emergency you may also contact the main office of your child’s host school directly.
We are now using the District’s Parent Portal as our primary method to communicate school updates. I plan to discontinue with our mass email list next week. Please check your Parent Portal account if you are not receiving updates through the portal.
