Please take a few minutes to review the items below to help us make sure things go smoothly for the kids this week. All of our Portal Announcements are also posted on our school website if you every need to double check any school updates.

  1. Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday September 28th, is our school’s first Non-Instructional Day. There is no school for students this Monday.
  2. THIS Wednesday September 30th our school will be participating in Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation (www.orangeshirtday.org). The message for this day is that every child matters! If your child has an orange shirt, or a shirt of a similar colour, please encourage them to wear it Wednesday.
  3. This Thursday night is our first PAC meeting for this school year beginning at 7pm. With the current COVID guidelines this first meeting needs to be a virtual meeting on Zoom. If for some reason this embedded Zoom link does not work for your family simply go to the zoom website and type in the Meeting ID and password below to attend.

  1. Thank you to all families for being so diligent so far about keeping children home when they are not feeling well. It is very important that we ensure sick children and staff do not remain in classrooms to keep c̓əsqənelə a healthy and safe place for everyone this school year.
