Dear Families,
With the current COVID guidelines, this year we can’t do a big “in person” Terry Fox school assembly and run but Terry’s story is such a compelling message we will be having a Terry Fox Day this Friday instead. Staff will be teaching about Terry’s story and message in the coming days and participating in individual class walks or runs. We are inviting families to send a loonie (or more) as a donation to help support Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer. Terry Fox’s original goal was to raise one dollar for every person in Canada so if we manage to raise at least one dollar for every person at c’usqunela it would be a nice accomplishment given the current context.
Other Updates:
- This Friday September 25th is the exact one year anniversary of our new school opening! It was one year ago that our school community participated in the great Great Trek up from the Albion Sports Complex to our beautiful new school. How time flies!!!!
- Just a reminder that this coming Monday is our school’s first Non-Instructional Day. There is no school for students this coming Monday September 28th.
