We are looking forward to welcoming the kids back to school this coming Tuesday. Just a reminder that this first day of school for students is afternoon only from 12:30 pm – 2:20 pm. Students only attend for the afternoon on this first day. Regular school days begin on Wednesday September 7th with the school day being 8:30am-2:20pm.
Please note that there has been a District calendar adjustment and dismissal is now 2:20pm (not 2:25) and our lunch hour is now 5 minutes earlier from 11:50am-12:30pm.
Returning students go back to their last years teacher/classroom for this first week. Our goal is to move into new classroom placements on Friday of this first week.
Please inform the office if your child will not be attending on September 6th using the parent portal, or by leaving a message on our office answering machine, to help us confirm student enrollment in a timely manner.
Please note: Children beginning kindergarten in September do not attend school on the first day, and will follow a schedule communicated to families at the end of June.

Community Soccer After School Program Information
Albion FC and SD 42 are again offering soccer clinics for interested students in grades 4-7. Please see below for details and registration information.
Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 19 to Oct. 19, 2022 (2:30 to 3:30 p.m.) Cost: $72 (eight sessions)

Maximum 16 students per session

Albion Community Center Program Information

AftersKool Registration: Will align with all of our other registered Fall program and will follow the same calendar: August 30 at 6:00 AM online and September 1 at 8:00 AM in-person or over the phone.
AftersKool Program Information:
AftersKool is a brand new, non-licensed, registered afterschool program focused on fun, active, safe and inclusive play! Children in Grades K – 7 will try new games, sports and work on creative projects in a supportive environment. Starting October 4, we will be running AftersKool at the Albion Community Centre.
Our staff will provide a supervised walk from c̓əsqənelə Elementary to the Albion Community Centre for students in Grades K and 1. Children from other local elementary schools are welcome to attend, but must be transported to the Albion Community Centre for sign-in by a parent, guardian, or other person agreed upon prior to participation.
