Dear Families,
Hoping everyone navigated this crazy winter weather safely last night and today! Just a reminder that the rest of the week looks a little different as well with an early dismissal tomorrow at 11:30am and a full conferencing day on Friday December 2nd. We are really looking forward to seeing parents and students in person at the school to talk about, and celebrate, your child’s progress and successes together!
For December we also have some really cool school wide activities planned for the kids which we will share before the end of the week!
Lastly, we are beginning to see some great opportunities appear for the kids and families at the Albion Community Center next door! For all those athletic families out there…. the Albion Community Centre (ACC) has arranged for Maple Ridge’s own softball Olympic bronze medalist Larissa Franklin to visit the ACC for a meet and greet on December 8th between 2:30-4pm. There is more information about this exciting opportunity on this flyer.
They are also collecting feedback from the community about Albion Community Centre after their first 6 months of operation. Below are two surveys they are looking for people to complete. One is an evaluation form for anyone that has attended any programs and/or events at the Community Centre so far or if they have been here for a rental booking. The second one is asking for program suggestions for things they would like to see offered at the Community Centre. The surveys are open until December 9th and we are looking for as much feedback as possible.
