Dear Families,
Just a few additional items today to help keep everything organized during this busy time.
- Term One Reporting Update – We have all collectively been through a tremendously challenging few months navigating the current COVID context. I want to encourage all families to remember this context when you meet to discuss with teachers your child’s term one progress. At these conferences, it is important that we collectively focus upon student growth, improvement, and successes more than areas of growth. We should still collectively talk about how we can support learning and growth in term 2 together but I would ask that people not get hung up with where their child “should be.”
- Just a reminder that NEXT Thursday (December 3rd) is an early dismissal for students at around 11:30 for conferencing. Next Friday (December 4th) is also a conference day. Classes will follow the usual controlled and staggered student release format for the Thursday early dismissal.
- Good luck to Mrs. Borghardt in her retirement adventures!!!! This Friday is Mrs. Borghardt’s last day at c’usqunela. She has been an amazing educator for many years in our District and we wish her well in her next adventures.
- PAC Purdy’s Chocolate pick up is NEXT Wednesday December 2nd at school from 1:30 to 2:45pm. If you have ordered chocolates from the PAC please highlight this pick up time in your calendars to help our parent volunteers to get all the goodies to their rightful homes.
