Dear Families,
It was great to see many students having fun with their Star Wars costumes and gear today! If your family ordered flowers from the PAC the orders will be arriving THIS Friday. As soon as the PAC gets the orders organized they will put a portal and facebook message out for order pick up. Flowers will also be available for pick up after school tomorrow until 2:45. We will have a limited number of items to sell tomorrow on a first come, first served basis.
If you are unable to pick up your order tomorrow, please arrange for someone to pick it up for you as we cannot store flowers at the school. Please email cusqunelapac@gmail.com with any questions. Thank you for your ongoing support of our amazing PAC initiatives. It is much appreciated!

- Class Placement Information
In late May we begin the process to create our classes for next year. Please be assured that staff devote considerable time, care, and attention to this process. This very complex and lengthy responsibility occurs over several weeks and continues into September when student numbers are finalized.
As part of this process we do consider current peer connections but we also recognize that with 80-100 children at each grade level there are many other excellent potential friendships waiting to happen with children not currently in your child’s classroom. One of our goals as a school is to help your child develop strong social skills and resiliency over time. As part of this process children need opportunities to develop new connections within their entire peer group. With this in mind, we strive to find a balance between current peer connections, while working not to limit students into small peer group clusters year after year.
Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully: social emotional skills and relationships, as well as learning styles, strengths and needs. Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive balanced classrooms.
Throughout the year, there have been many opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss each child. If you feel there is further information to consider about your child, please feel free to speak to your child’s teacher or submit input to Mr. Wheatley in writing no later than May 19, 2023. Please refrain from requesting specific teachers or peers by name.
Mr. Wheatley
