Dear Families,

Please review the school and PAC updates below to help the next couple weeks go smoothly for your child(ren). This update includes some important PAC reminders and an opportunity for older students to register for a babysitting course.

  1. Spin to Win with Wheelie Wednesday starting TOMORROW!

Every Wednesday after school in May the PAC will have a prize wheel at the school. It is $2 per spin to win a prize & help raise funds for our Playground!

  1. Pizza Day is coming soon on May 9th! Pizza Day orders can be placed until Wednesday May 4th at 9pm using the Munchalunch link below.

  1. Wednesday is that fun May 4 date that many people have chosen as a special Star Wars Day calling it “May the 4th be with you.” If your children have any fun star wars shirts etc… they are free to wear them on Wednesday if they wish. No light sabres or weapons please.
  2. PAC Coffee Orders! Please help us in raising funds for our playground with K9 Coffee Co. fundraiser from May 2nd to May 13th. Pick up will be on Friday, May 27th at the school from 1:30 to 3:00pm. To order, please go to the link below and order under fundraising section.

  • Portion of all proceeds assist with the medical bills of retired Canadian Police Dogs
  • $5 of $17 per bag, will go directly to help fund the new school playground
  1. PAC Meeting this Thursday at 7pm!!! The Zoom link was emailed out to families. If you did not receive it, please contact the office
  2. Red Cross Babysitting Course Offered May 14th  for  ages 11 – 15  Students learn how to care for younger children and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. Each student receives a Babysitter’s manual certificate  $65/student. This course is being offered at Fraserview Village, 22610 116 Ave, Maple Ridge. Pre-registration is required, please register online at 222.firstaidhero.com. If you have any questions please call the First Aid Hero Office 604-880-8017.
  3. Please join us for our production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. Ticket order forms have been sent home with students. If you would like to request tickets please fill out the form and return to the school by May 9th. Show dates are May 18th @ 1pm, May 18th @ 6pm, May 19th @ 1pm, May 19th @ 6pm.  There are 200 seats per show. Tickets also available at door until sold out.
