Just a couple of reminders and updates for this week.
- Please remember that THIS Wednesday May 12, 2021 is a district wide Non Instructional Day and there is no school for students.
- c̓əsqənelə Elementary PAC is inviting all interested families to May’s monthly PAC meeting on Zoom beginning at 7pm on Thursday May 13th. (The Zoom Link for this meeting was sent out to parents by Mr. Wheatley in his Monday May 10th email). Part of this meeting will involve selecting next year’s PAC Executive and a playground planning update. Everyone is welcome! We appreciate your support!! The PAC
- Traffic Safety Update – Thank you to all drivers who are continuing as far down the school’s main driveway as possible before pulling over to drop off and pick up students. It is allowing us to get many more vehicles through the school driveway in a safe and timely manner. We ask that all drivers continue to drive slowly and exercise caution when dropping off or picking up to keep the students as safe as possible in this congested area.
We would like to ask that parents walking their children across the main driveway please make a point of using the school’s two designated crosswalks. While this may not always be the most direct route, it is important for us all to collectively teach the kids good traffic safety habits, to reduce the risk of a serious accident.
