Dear Families,
The Ministry of Education and public health have directed school districts to distribute COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits to all Grade K-7 students for use in the home setting under the supervision of a parent. Our school has not yet received all of our test kits.
We have also received direction from the Ministry of Education that, out of an abundance of caution, rapid antigen test kits for Grades K-7 should be distributed directly to parents/guardians (i.e. not given to students to take home). While the test kits provided to school districts are approved by Health Canada, a bulletin from Health Canada advises that rapid antigen test kits and solutions should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
As soon as c’usqunela has received all the test kits needed I will send out a follow up message with a plan to have them distributed.
Lastly…. Just a reminder that….
