Dear Families,
I just wanted to send out a final message before Spring Break thanking all families for being so careful and supportive in the past months as we have navigated this very complex COVID experience together. As a school community, we have continued to create a calm, caring, and positive school experience for the kids despite all the complexities swirling around us daily. I am tremendously proud of the way our school community has come together to support each other, and am very appreciative of the measures families have taken, to ensure we keep the school as safe as possible. Thank – you!!! I am very hopeful that with nicer Spring weather we will be able to make the third term a safe and positive one as well. I hope everyone is able to get some well needed rest and relaxation and we look forward to seeing all the kids back at school on Monday March 29th.
PAC Auction Update:
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated and participated in the PAC’s recent Online Playground Auction. The auction raised almost $15,500 towards our new playground. This is simply an incredible amount of money for any school fundraiser! It will go a long way to helping to speed up our timeline to get some more play structures built for the kids. Thank you to the PAC Auction volunteers Taylor Bean, Katie Jonas Paulina Larrain, Aida Naghizadeh, and anyone else I’ve missed for making this happen during a pandemic!
PAC Bylaw Update:
On March 25th we will be posting proposed PAC bylaw amendments on the c’usqunela PAC Facebook page for all parents to review at their convenience. Bylaw amendments will be voted on at the next PAC meeting on April 10th. If you would like a copy emailed to you, please email cusqunelafundraising@gmail.com.
