Dear Families,

There have been number of changes in the health and safety guidance these past few days related to schools. The rules around international travel however are still quite strict and different. Please review the links below for the update guidance on when to get a COVID-19 test, self-isolate, and/or if you are planning a trip in the near future.

Other items for next week are:

  1. This coming Tuesday February 1st will be the last PAC Toonie Tuesday!!! We are getting closer and closer to our new playground and every little bit helps! All students who bring in donations will be entered in the draw this Tuesday!
  2. What do to when sick and guidelines on international travel

The BC Centre for Disease Control has updated its guidance on when to get a COVID-19 test and when to self-isolate. See the What to do when sick flowchart for a summary of this guidance.

  1. February PAC Meeting

Hello c’usqunela community,

Our next PAC meeting will be held on Thursday, February 3rd, 7pm over zoom. The agenda and Zoom link were emailed out to families today. If you did not received it please contact the school office.

  1. PAC Fundraising Update – Squares are back! 

Buy a square (or two!) to enter for your chance to win the exclusive VIP parking spot of the month of February and 25% of the funds raised!  Squares will run until Sunday, January 30th at 9pm and we will draw for a winner on Monday, January 31st at drop off. To buy your square(s):

– Go to the cusqunela PAC Facebook page and comment  which number(s) you would like.

– Once your picks are confirmed, etransfer $10/square to cusqunelafundraising@gmail.com, password PAC2021.

We will update the board nightly on Facebook, coloured squares are spoken for. You can also buy squares in person at the front of the school on Wednesday at pick up time. All money raised goes directly back to the school.
