Dear Families,
Just a few reminders to help keep everyone organized for this week!
- Kindness Counts/Pink Shirt Day THIS Wednesday!We are inviting students to wear a pink shirt, or any other clothing, that visibly celebrates the importance of treating others with kindness. This message is really something we try to emphasize every day but this Wednesday is a nice opportunity to visibly celebrate this message with other schools around the province. Please help your son/daughter to find a T-shirt that might help to promote that kindness counts!
- Love Australia Update– Thank you to all families who recently helped to bring in baked goods, or other donations, to help support our leadership students fundraise to help animals and communities impacted by the Australian wildfires. Together we raised an AMAZING $1481 that will be sent to the Australian Red Cross and the Australian SPCA. Simply incredible school spirit and generosity!
- Dog Safety and Awareness – We ask that any families who walk family dogs to school with your children to be a little more careful around the school. We have some students who are very scared of dogs, and excited and/or loud dogs, can be quite upsetting for them. If you bring your pet dog onto school property to please be extra careful, keep them away from congested areas, and under your full control at all times. Thank you.
- Student Conferences are NEXT Thursday & Friday! – Just a reminder to all families that next Thursday (March 4) is an early dismissal at 11:30am, and Friday (March 5) is a full day of student inclusive conferencing. We are looking forward to sharing the students’ many successes and discussing future goals with you and your child(ren). On these conference days, we will also be having a Book Fair in the library each day, and on Thursday March 4th the PAC will be hosting a movie night featuring the movie Frozen 2!

PAC Updates
- PAC Movie Night NEXT Thursday March 5th featuring Frozen 2! The PAC is inviting interested families to join them for the movie Frozen 2 next Thursday. Doors will open at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:30pm.
Tickets can be bought on Munchalunch for a discount price of $6 and include a slice of pizza. We will also be selling tickets at the door with a concession available.
- If you would like to learn more about our terrific PAC and/or become more involved please consider attending a future PAC meeting. The next two monthly PAC meetings are next Wednesday March 4th at 7pm ( library) and on April 16th. Everyone is welcome!
