Dear Families,
A few additional items to keep track of this week to help keep everyone organized.
- Maple Ridge Christmas Bureau Coin Drive – Quarters on Tuesday!
Thank you to all families who sent in nickels and dimes today! For Tuesday we are collecting quarters for The Maple Ridge Christmas Bureau. The Christmas Bureau assists several hundred families each year with gifts, clothes, and food to make the holiday season a little bit brighter. Beginning Monday, we will be collecting a different type of coin each day in the classrooms.
Monday – nickels and dimes
Tuesday – quarters
Wednesday – loonies
Thursday – toonies
Friday – your choice!
Thank you for your participation in our school Kindness Challenge!
- PAC COVID Friendly Fundraiser!
This year we are all experiencing major shifts in how we live, share, play and learn.
The current COVID context has significantly impacted how the PAC can fundraise towards our school’s new playground. This year, instead of multiple fundraisers, the PAC is going to ask families to consider making one donation. Click HERE for the COVID-Friendly Fundraiser. A paper copy will also be coming home with students.
- PAC December General Meeting – THIS Thursday (Dec. 10th) at 7pm.
Interested parents are invited to attend this Thursday’s PAC meeting on Zoom. We will be discussing the next steps for the playground project, the acquisition of an AED device for the school, and a few other items. All parents who have children attending c’usqunela are automatically members of the PAC. All parents are welcome!
Please be advised the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) also has a Facebook page for our school in order to communicate certain events, fundraisers, and general information surrounding c’usqunela Elementary. If you are a Facebook member, please visit the page link below and request to join (member question must be answered to be accepted)

- Holiday Head Gear Fun THIS Friday! We are inviting all students to wear any fun holiday hats, antlers, and/or other festive head gear they might have this Friday for a bit of fun. Thank you to our grade 6/7 classes for organizing this socially distanced fun and laughter in the school.
