Dear Families,
Thank you for the tremendous support for our Young Entrepreneur Fair this week. It created a lot of positive energy through the school and was a very powerful learning experience for the students involved!
Today you should receive a copy of your child’s term one report card that was discussed at the recent conferences. Please take a minute to celebrate the successes and encourage your child(ren) to follow through on their plans to become even smarter and better. We talk a lot at c̓əsqənelə about the power of “YET” and how to become the best we can be you to have a growth mindset.
Next week, many of the primary classrooms are taking part in a musical performance which we will tape and send home for those classrooms involved.
The PAC would like to make this Monday a little more festive for the kids! We are calling Monday “North Pole Day” and we are inviting all staff and students to wear festive clothing for this school day. Anything holiday themed or red or green etc… would be great. The PAC will also be providing kids with a little covid friendly snack in the morning. Please remind your child(ren) to dress up in some festive clothing or colours on Monday.
Lastly, many of the classes have displayed winter art work in the POD windows to bring a little more festive feel to the school. Please take a walk around the building when picking up and dropping off each day to see our talented young artists creations!
