Weekly Memo Nov. 20-24

Congratulations to all our volleyball teams for having successful seasons.  Our Recreation team will host their last game on Tuesday against Kanaka Creek and on Wednesday, November 29^th our boy’s completive team will take part in the district finals at Garibaldi Secondary School.  Basketball tryouts are now underway.  Please see the calendar below for tryout information.

Classroom teachers have their conference times posted on the Parent Portal.  Please ensure that you log onto the Parent Portal and sign up for a conference.  If you have any questions regarding your child’s conference, please ensure that you contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Mark your calendar for on Tuesday, December 19^th we will be hosting an Albion Family Christmas Celebration.  The evening will include a short winter movie followed by a Christmas sing-along.  There will be two separate sessions that families will be able to sign up to attend.  The first session will run from 5:15 pm- approximately 6:15 pm and the second session will run from 6:30 pm- approximately 7:30 pm.  Families will be required to sign up for the time that they are wishing to attend.  Sign up information will be sent home soon.

Community Information

Christmas Hamper Society: I am including the link once again, for the registration information with the Christmas Hamper Society.  https://www.mrpmchristmashamper.org/  Registration opens for families November 13th.

Salvation Army Christmas Village Program: Salvation Army supports families in accessing gifts for their loved ones. Registration is now open and closes on November 30th. Family Education and Support Centre Winter Celebration Hampers: Family Ed is offering a limited number of spots for registration for their Winter Celebration Hampers. It is a first come first serve basis, and often fills up before registration closes. If you have a family you wish to connect with an application, please have them contact Olivia or Kim at REG@FAMILYED.CA Registration is now open and closes on Nov 14th.
