I hope everyone has been able to have some fun playing in the snow. A reminder to please ensure your child come to school prepared to spend time outside.
I was by the school today and I noticed that there are still several large piles of snow in the drop off area. Given that these piles have reduced the width of our lot and drop off zone, please be prepared that after dropping off vehicles may not be able to exit through the north gated exit. I will re-evaluated this situation on Monday morning. If the lot continues to appear to be unsafe for students and staff, the north gated entrance will be designated as an entrance only and after dropping your child off, all vehicles will need to exit through the south gated exit. A reminder that when you exit the south exit drivers are only permitted to make a right hand turn. It is requested that if you are entering the lot and dropping your child off, please ensure you give yourself some extra time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.
Families are also reminded that our back parking lot is CLOSED to all vehicles other than staff. If your child enters the school grounds through the back lot, please ensure you remind them to use the entrance gate by the road and walk behind the portables and remind them to walk on the walkway, not on the entry road. Please also let your child know that they are not permitted to play on the snow piles located in both parking lots.
Used Books
Due to schools being closed for 3 days last week we will be continuing to collect used books for a used book sale that will be occurring on January 29th and 30th. All used books and be dropped off at the front entrance.
Limited Kindness Shirts
A reminder that Limited Kindness shirts are available. To order please order through munchalunch, download the order form that was sent last week through the parent portal, or come into the office to get a paper copy. All orders need to be completed and paid for by Tuesday, January 30th.
PAC Family Dance
The family dance will be Friday, February 9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 6pm.
ALL ATTENDEES REQUIRE A FREE ADMISSION TICKET (Orders available through munchalunch).
Please ensure you select the appropriate quantity. This is to ensure we comply with fire regulations. Tickets are available until January 31st. Please remember that there is no drop offs allowed. All students must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
