Welcome Back!

 

We hope everyone had a fantastic summer and had the opportunity to make special memories with friends and family.  The staff at MRE are excited to welcome students and families back for the 2023-2024 school year.

 

Tomorrow morning it is requested that students in Grades 1-7 report back to the classes they were in today.  Students will remain in these classes until the end of the week.

 

This week students will be participating in a variety of fun activities such as the pancake breakfast and our school-wide collaborative Art project.  The Art project involves painting, therefore please send your child to school wearing clothing that may get paint on it. Please wait until students have been placed into their new classes to send school supplies.

 

Bell Schedule – September 6th and onwards:

8:25 am                                   students line up

8:30 am                                   classes begin

10:20 – 10:35 am                    recess

12:00 – 12:15 pm                    students eat in their classrooms

12:15 – 12:40 pm                    outside playtime

2:20 pm                                   dismissal

 

We understand that students are looking forward to finding out who their classroom teacher will be, and our goal is to get them into their classes as soon as possible.  However, as in previous years, over the next few days we will continue to monitor our enrollment and once we have received confirmation from the district and staff are confident with student placement decisions, we will transition our students to their new classes.

 

We look forward to a year of learning, growth and fun.
