REPORT CARDS
Report cards for the 2024/25 school year will be published to MyClass. You will need a MyClass account to access your child(ren)’s report card(s).
MyClass is the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District No. 42 gateway that connects parents/guardians to MyEducation BC (MyEd BC). MyEd BC is a provincial system that allows you to view your child(ren)’s information (schedule, attendance, transcript record, etc.).
MyClass accounts are separate from the school district Parent Portal system and have a separate login. You should have received a login ID and password at the email address you provided to the school during your child(ren)’s initial registration, which may be different than the email you use to log in to the Parent Portal.
Please log in to your MyClass account using a laptop or computer and familiarize yourself with the system if you have not done so already. Learn how to navigate the website with the MyClass Parent Guide: https://www.sd42.ca/myclass-parent-guide/.
Linking your MyClass account and BC Services Card
It is recommended that you link your MyClass account with your BC Services Card to prevent your password from automatically expiring after 90 days. This will allow you to log in to your MyClass account using your BC Services Card.
To link your BC Services Card with your MyClass account, you must:
Have a current MyClass (MyEd BC) parent account that you have successfully logged into.
Configure the BC Services Card app on your mobile device. Watch the instructional video to learn how.
Log in through the BC Services Card button on the MyEd BC login screen.

Having issues logging in?
If you’re having difficulty finding the message with your MyClass login details, please search sysadmin@myeducation.gov.bc.ca in your email inbox.
If you have not received your login information, it could be because:
The school does not have a valid email address on file. Please contact your child’s school to ensure they have your email address.
You already have an account:
If you already have an account for your child in secondary school, you won’t receive a separate account for your child in elementary school. Both children will be linked to the existing account.
If you forgot your Login ID, please reach out to your child’s school. If you forgot your password, click “I forgot my password” on the MyEd BC login screen to reset it.
If you have received your account details but are having difficulty signing in, please contact the MyClass Helpdesk at myclass@sd42.ca.

Education Assistant Program at Ridge Meadows College
If you or someone you know may be interested in a career working with children and youth with diverse abilities, Ridge Meadows College (operated by SD42) still has seats available for the September cohort of its Education Assistant (EA) program.
The demand for this job is high as the province faces a shortage of EAs and virtually all graduates of the program move on to work in school districts across B.C., including Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District No. 42. Courses take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and sometimes on Saturdays.
If you’d like to learn more about the program, you can visit the website at https://rmcollege.sd42.ca/program/education-assistant/ or register for the next information session taking place on July 9, 2025.
