School District No. 42, working in conjunction with Blue Mountain Elementary, and with financial support from the BC government, offers Strong Start Learning Centre. Strong Start Learning Centre will be located at Garibaldi Secondary School in the Fall 2018 – entrance by gym doors.
Programs run Monday to Friday 8:30 – 11:30 am, except for Wednesday 11:30 to 2:30.
The Strong Start Learning Centre is a free program for parents and children ages birth to five years old. Parents and Caregivers attending Strong Start BC will participate with their children in organized sessions like story time, circle time, free play, arts, early literacy, and information sharing. Also, parents and caregivers are likely to discover new ways to support their children’s learning at home, and may make valuable connections with others attending the centre.
