Site preparation work for the upcoming classroom addition at Blue Mountain Elementary is beginning this week with construction fencing going up around the designated work zone at the west side of the school starting tomorrow (Wednesday, December 3).
What to Expect as Site Preparation Work Gets Underway
- Full site preparation activity is expected to begin on Monday, December 8.
- Please plan extra time for drop-off, pick-up, and travel in the area.
- The main parking lots will remain open.
- Pedestrian access to the school will continue, though some pathways may be re-routed. Please follow posted signage.
- Intermittent traffic delays may occur on 248 Street; flaggers will be on-site.
We are sharing this information to help you plan for the temporary changes that come with construction. The district will continue to work closely with ETRO Construction to minimize disruptions throughout the construction period, and we will share any key updates with you as they become available.
