The BME Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a non-profit organization that supports BME and its teachers with resources and tools that enhance our children’s education and future. The PAC meets on a monthly basis throughout the school year and provides an opportunity to all parents and family members of students to get involved with the school’s activities and discuss issues and ideas related to your child’s education. Please visit our FaceBook page BME PAC. The link will be in the Parent Mountain Memo.
Please join us at our monthly meetings. These are communicated via Parent Mountain Memo sent out every Sunday night.
Next PAC Meeting:
Thursday evening 6:30 pm –Generally the 2nd Thursday of each school month. See parent portal for dates.
All parents are encouraged to attend!
What does the PAC do?
- The PAC helps fund our school’s gym equipment, library books, iPads, Fun Day and grade 7 graduation parties.
- The PAC helps fund classroom supplies, tools and field trips for all students and teachers.
- The PAC supports and involves all parents concerns, suggestions and comments about our children’s education.
Where do we get the funding?
The PAC, on behalf of Blue Mountain Elementary, receives some funding from the BC Gaming Association. But the majority of the funds is raised by our committed parents and family members, who volunteer their time in organizing various fundraisers in support of our school. All money raised goes towards the benefit of Blue Mountain Elementary students.
