We have begun the process of creating classes for the upcoming school year. Please be assured that staff devote significant time, care, and thoughtful consideration to this work. Class placement is a complex and collaborative process that unfolds over several weeks and continues into September, when placements are finalized.
Throughout the year, parents and teachers have had many opportunities to share information about each child. Staff work together to carefully consider a range of factors, including social-emotional skills and relationships, as well as individual learning styles, strengths, and needs. Our goal is to create safe, inclusive, and engaging classrooms that balance these factors as equitably as possible.
If you feel there is additional information about your child that should be considered, you may submit written input to the principal using this form or by email at laura_bruce@sd42.ca no later than May 8, 2026.
Please refrain from requesting specific teachers by name.
