Dear Yennadon Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for your participation in Bike\/Walk\/Wheel to School Week last week.\u00a0 A huge thank you to the PAC for donating all of the student and class incentive prizes.\u00a0 In anticipation of the warmer days ahead, please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for sunny weather, which includes lightweight, breathable clothing, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.\u00a0 Encourage your children to stay hydrated and please send them to school with water bottles.\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Deadline to Order Hot Dog\/TCBY Hot Lunch (for June 12th<\/sup>), Tues., June 6<\/strong> \u2013 A reminder that hot lunch meals must be pre-ordered online at<\/span> Munch-a-Lunch<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. PAC Meeting, Tues., June 6<\/strong> \u2013 A reminder of the upcoming general PAC meeting at 7pm in the main school, Room 1077 (enter through the front doors and turn right into C-Pod).<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. May School Assembly, Wed., June 7<\/strong> \u2013 Our next school assembly is this Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the gym for INTERMEDIATE students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Roundabout Closed for Track & Field Rotations, Wed., June 7 from 1:00 \u2013 2:00pm<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Young Entrepreneurs Fair, Thurs., June 8 from 9:00am to 2:00 pm (closed 10:20-10:35 and 11:50-12:30)<\/strong> \u2013 Ms. McIntosh\u2019s class invites parents, staff, and students to attend their Young Entrepreneurs Show. This is a great event for other students to be inspired, to learn about business, and to have fun.\u00a0 Students visit this showcase event with their classes during regular school hours.\u00a0 Both students and parents may want to bring along a nominal amount of money for spending \u2013 there are a lot of homemade creative products to choose from.\u00a0 Prices generally range from $1 to $10.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Pizza Hot Lunch, Fri., June 8 <\/strong>\u2013 Thank you to our PAC for organizing and offering hot lunches.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Yennadon Library Closes, Mon., June 12 <\/strong>\u2013 Please take a good look\u00a0under and behind\u00a0the beds and the couches, between the cushions, and especially\u00a0on your bookshelves\u00a0to see if there are\u00a0any Yennadon\u00a0materials in your home. All books must be returned by\u00a0Monday, June 12th\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>so Mrs. White can begin our library\u2019s inventory.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

  9. Creative Pack Student Supply Kits<\/strong> are available on the parent portal and the school website. All orders are completed online at<\/span>\u00a0https:\/\/creativepacks.ca\/collections\/packs\/yennadon-elementary-school+<\/strong><\/a> .\u00a0 Packs ordered by July 3rd<\/sup> receive free shipping to the school and will be distributed when we return to school in September.\u00a0 Packs ordered after July 3rd<\/sup> will include a shipping fee and will be shipped to your home.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
