Dear Yennadon Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

Congratulations to our Competitive Boys and Girls Basketball teams for both making it to the district playoffs!\u00a0 They both play semi-final games after school on Monday, the boys at Yennadon and the girls at Laity View.\u00a0 Depending on their Monday results, the boys finals are on Wednesday and the girls finals are on Thursday, both at MRSS.\u00a0 A huge thank you to our coaches and parents for supporting your children while driving them to practices and games.\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week and spring break.\u00a0 Enjoy your break and we will see you back at school on Monday,March 27th<\/sup>!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Book Swap Donations, Extended to Tues., Mar. 7<\/strong> \u2013 S<\/strong>tudents may bring in books for donation until this Tuesday<\/strong>. When each class visits the Swap on Wednesday, each student may choose out as many gently used books as they donated.\u00a0 Students may bring in a maximum of ten books<\/u> to swap.\u00a0 Please refer to the previous parent portal message for details about criteria for donating books to the Swap.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Third Annual Book Swap, Wed<\/strong>., Mar. 8<\/strong> \u2013 On Wednesday, March 8th<\/sup> classes will visit the Swap so that each student may choose out as many gently used books as they donated.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Lost and Found <\/strong>\u2013 Our Lost and Found is overflowing. We will display items in the main school hallway again this week.\u00a0 Please encourage your children to take a look for items that may belong to them.\u00a0 We plan to pack up everything at the end of the day on Friday, March 10th<\/sup> to donate to charity.<\/span><\/li>\n

Place your orders online by Wed., Mar. 8th<\/sup> following the instructions on the ArtCard.\u00a0 Return all artwork to your child\u2019s classroom teacher by Thurs., Mar. 9th<\/sup>.\u00a0 All orders are being collected on Fri., Mar. 10th<\/sup> and delivered to the studio for production.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Spirit Day: Pajama Day, Fri., Mar. 10<\/strong> \u2013 The Leadership Team invites you to participate in a pajama spirit day. This is also the last day of school before Spring Break.<\/span><\/li>\n

  11. Student Learning Surveys <\/strong>\u2013 This year, parents do not need a logon code to access the online Student Learning Survey.
