Congratulations to our Girls\u2019 Competitive Volleyball Team for heading into the playoffs next week undefeated.\u00a0 Way to go, Eagles!\u00a0 Their first play-off game is on Thursday, November 24th<\/sup>\u00a0at 3:15pm at Garibaldi Secondary.\u00a0 We wish them the best of luck!\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Grade 6 Immunizations, Mon., Nov. 21<\/strong> \u2013 Fraser Health is coming in the morning for these student immunizations.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. From Ballet to B-Boy ArtStarts Performance, Wed., Nov. 23<\/strong> \u2013 This year\u2019s ArtStarts performance is for our intermediate students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Girls\u2019 Competitive Volleyball Play-Offs, Thurs., Nov. 24 at 3:15 pm<\/strong> \u2013 We invite you to Garibaldi Secondary to come and cheer on our team. They play again either at 5:15pm or 6:15pm depending on results of their first game.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Spirit Day: Plaid Day, Fri., Nov. 25<\/strong> \u2013 The Leadership Team invites you to participate in a plaid day spirit day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Deadline to Order White Spot Hot Lunch (for Dec. 5th<\/sup>), Fri., Nov. 25<\/strong> \u2013 A reminder that hot lunch meals must be pre-ordered online at<\/span> Munch-a-Lunch<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  6. PAC BINGO Night Fundraiser, Fri., Nov. 25 from 6:00 \u2013 11:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 For those who have tickets, a reminder that this PAC fundraiser is an adult only event.<\/span><\/li>\n

Yennadon Christmas Hamper Gift Card Drive, Nov. 23 \u2013 Dec. 8<\/strong> \u2013 Once again we are requesting donations of gift cards to local stores for four specific families in our Yennadon community. \u00a0Donations can be given to classroom teachers by December 8th<\/sup>. If possible, please donate gift cards from these preferred stores<\/u>:\u00a0 Walmart, Superstore, FreshCo, Save-on-Foods, Winners, Cineplex, Tim Hortons, McDonald\u2019s, London Drugs, and Shoppers Drug Mart.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Poinsettias, Wreaths, and Planters <\/strong>Fundraiser <\/strong>\u2013 Grade 6\/7 students are selling poinsettias, wreaths, planters, and greenery as a fundraiser for camp. Poinsettias will arrive at the school on December 6th<\/sup> for pick up between 1:00 to 5:00pm in the main school gym.\u00a0 Follow the link below to place your order.\u00a0 Deadline to order is Tuesday, November 22nd<\/sup><\/u>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Gift Card <\/strong>Fundraiser <\/strong>\u2013 Grade 6\/7 students are selling a variety of gift cards as a fundraiser for camp. Gift cards will arrive at the school early December and will be sent home with students.\u00a0 See the parent portal message to place your order and send to the school.\u00a0 Deadline to order is Wednesday, November 30th<\/sup><\/u>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Three Way Reporting Conferences, Dec. 1 (early dismissal at 11:30am) and Dec. 2<\/strong> \u2013 Our teachers have put out a sign up for term 1 conferences on the parent portal. You have the option to conference in person or online.\u00a0 Please be sure you sign up during the allotted time if your teacher has asked for online\/in person conferences to be separated.\u00a0 This is an important time where your child will be showing their learning for the term and setting goals for term 2.\u00a0 As such, please try to find alternated arrangements for your other children.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
