Dear Yennadon Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

Last Wednesday we honoured our veterans with our annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.\u00a0 We had presentations from the choir and Ms. Thorburn\u2019s class during our virtual assembly.\u00a0 Although a short week, we extended this important topic beyond our assembly.\u00a0 Our students learned about the accomplishments of specific veterans and created many displays and artwork about Remembrance Day.\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meridian Gift Cards, Mon., Nov. 14<\/strong> \u2013 Meridian gift cards will be sent home with students on Monda<\/u> If you prefer to pick up your gift cards at the office, please contact your child\u2019s teacher to send your gift cards to the office.\u00a0 Thank you for supporting this Grade 6&7 camp fundraiser.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Spirit Day: Pajama Day, Fri., Nov. 18<\/strong> \u2013 The Leadership Team invites you to participate in a pajama day spirit day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Pizza Hot Lunch, Fri., Nov. 18<\/strong> \u2013 Thank you to our PAC for organizing and offering hot lunches.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Purdy\u2019s Chocolatier Fundraiser <\/strong>\u2013 The PAC is selling Purdy\u2019s chocolates just in time for the winter holidays.         1. Three Way Reporting Conferences, Dec. 1 (early dismissal at 11:30am) and Dec. 2<\/strong> \u2013 Our teachers have put out a sign up for term 1 conferences on the parent portal. You have the option to conference in person or online.\u00a0 Please be sure you sign up during the allotted time if your teacher has asked for online\/in person conferences to be separated.\u00a0 This is an important time where your child will be showing their learning for the term and setting goals for term 2.\u00a0 As such, please try to find alternated arrangements for your other children.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
