Tuesday, September 6th<\/sup><\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, September 6th<\/sup> at 12:30pm<\/strong> is the first day back for all students <\/strong>for the 2022\/2023 school year.\u00a0 A reminder that DISMISSAL is at 2:20 pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 On the first day back to school, students return to their previous classrooms<\/u>.\u00a0 In classes where the existing teacher is no longer at our school, we will have another replacement.\u00a0 As there is no scheduled recess Tuesday afternoon, a snack is not necessary.\u00a0 Remember to decide in advance on a meeting spot to pick up your child<\/u>.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Kindergarten students do not attend<\/u> school on Tuesday<\/strong> and have received a letter of instruction via the parent portal regarding their AM\/PM groups and gradual entry schedule starting on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New students in Grades 1 to 7<\/u> need to wait outside the front entrance<\/u> of the school and we will welcome the students into the Library at 12:30pm.\u00a0 Students come for attendance, registration if necessary, and receive important information.\u00a0 Please return to the outside front entrance at 2:20pm to pick up your child<\/u>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We need an accurate count for our enrollment, organization, and staffing.\u00a0 Please let us know if your child will not be present during the first week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. MacQuarrie\u2019s<\/strong> class reports to Ms. Wilson in Room 1060<\/strong>\u00a0(B\u00a0Pod<\/strong>)<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, September 7th<\/sup> \u00a0\u2013 Friday, September 9th<\/sup><\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Students going into\u00a0Grades 1 through 7<\/strong> for the 2022\/2023 school year go to the same classes as Tuesday.\u00a0 New students<\/strong>, please report to the front entrance of the school<\/strong> again Wednesday morning.\u00a0 For some classes, please see the list of exceptions\/changes below.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not necessary to bring school supplies; however, remember to pack a recess snack and a lunch<\/strong>.\u00a0 Also, please decide in advance on a meeting spot to pick up your child<\/u>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Edge\u2019s<\/strong> class reports to Ms. Ternoway<\/strong> in Room 1132<\/strong> (F Pod<\/strong>)<\/span><\/p>\n

*Mrs. Lindsay\u2019s class \u2013 reports to Mrs. Dilley in the same portable as last year<\/span><\/p>\n

For several reasons, we may not be able to organize students into \u201cfinal\u201d classes until Friday or Monday.\u00a0 Many factors make it more challenging to fine tune class composition, and we may require extra time.\u00a0 Therefore, <\/strong>students going into\u00a0Grades 1 through 7 for the 2022\/2023 school year will most likely return to their previous\/alternate\u00a0classroom<\/u>\u00a0for the entire week<\/strong>.\u00a0 During our first week back, if needed, grade teams will do activities and assessments with students.\u00a0 This will allow us to welcome students back, generate some good school spirit, and make stronger decisions about class composition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our regular daily schedule from 8:30am to 2:20pm begins on Wednesday, September 7th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0 Please do not send any school supplies until students are placed in their new classes.<\/span><\/p>\n
