Dear YENNADON Families,
We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable summer holiday. There’s always something exciting about the start of a new school year.
I am thrilled to be coming to Yennadon elementary as its principal. I want to wish Mrs. Lawrance all the best in her new principalship at Laity View elementary. Joining me as vice principals are Lindsay Ross and Tammy Meyer. Together, we look forward to working with our staff and school community to ensure our students have opportunities for great learning experiences.
A special welcome to our new kindergarten students and students new to our school.
Staff are working hard to prepare our school for start up, and we want to assure you that we are committed to supporting every student as we start this new school year. Our PAC is also actively planning another eventful year.
Below, you will find key information to help support a smooth start for your child. Additional information will be sent home at the end of the first week.
We wish all of our students, families, and staff a fantastic start to the school year.
Warm regards,

What should your child bring to school in the first week
Please ensure that your child brings the following items to school:
- a snack and a lunch
- a personal water bottle
Please also ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Students will need to bring their school supplies once they are placed in their new classrooms. School supplies purchased from the school are sent home right away so families can label items to come back to school for student’s first class.
