We are excited to showcase our schoolwide Hip Hop Dance Program this Tuesday.  Parents are invited to attend a show to watch your children perform.    As always, please be mindful of our neighbours when you park your car in the neighbourhood to avoid blocking driveways.  In addition, please do not park at the Black Sheep Pub and Liquor Store.  Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week. 

  1. First Group of Hip Hop Dance Performances starting at 10:30 am, Tues., Apr. 25 – The classes performing are Ternoway, Francis, Kocurek/Hirsig, Ludeman, Edge, Linde, Paton, Jennings, Dilley,Williamson, Yip, Jakeway, Friesen, Wilson, Matthew, and Bouey. Please remember to submit payment for the $10 hip hop fee on the parent portal form.

Second Group of Hip Hop Dance Performances starting at 12:45 am, Tues., Apr. 25 – The classes performing are Butterworth, Leblanc, Sinow, Robertson, Williams, Holland, Baldassi, Martin, Owen, Thorburn, Funk, McIntosh, Kossaber-Graham, Miller, and Loutet.  Please remember to submit payment for the $10 hip hop fee on the parent portal form. 

  1. Secretary’s Day, Wed., Apr. 26 – Please join us in thanking and celebrating our amazing clerical staff today!
  2. Roundabout Closed for Track & Field, Wed., Apr. 26 from 1:00 – 2:00pm
  3. Deadline to Order Pizza Hot Lunch (for May 5th), Wed., Apr. 26 – A reminder that hot lunch meals must be pre-ordered online at Munch-a-Lunch.
  4. Roundabout Closed for Track & Field, Fri., Apr. 28 from 10:40 – 11:50am
  5. Pizza Hot Lunch, Fri., Apr. 28 – Thank you to our PAC for organizing and offering hot lunches.
  6. Registration for Summer Learning, Apr. 18 to May 9 – Parents can register for elementary and/or secondary summer learning through the parent portal between noon April 18th and 3pm on May 9th.   7. Student Learning Surveys – This year, parents of Grade 4 and 7 students do not need a logon code to access the online Student Learning Survey. Electronic surveying is available to parents of Grade 4 and 7 students until April 29th.  The website to access the electronic survey is:  http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/sat_survey/access.htm.  Your input is appreciated.
