Please remember the parking lots on either side of the school are for staff only. Families and visitors are asked not to enter these parking lots at any time of day, including pick up and drop off. There is a high volume of students in these areas before and after school and traffic needs to be limited for student safety reasons. Thank you for doing your part to support student safety at MRE.<\/p>\n

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES:\u00a0SNOW<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the weather cools, please review the school district\u2019s inclement weather procedures as they relate to snowfall and possible school closures.<\/p>\n

The decision to close schools due to accumulating snowfall is ultimately the responsibility of the superintendent, who must balance the safety of students, staff and parents with the need to provide learning. The decision is not taken lightly and is the result of a carefully thought-out process that is reviewed after each experience and refined if necessary.<\/p>\n

Except in rare circumstances, no announcement will be made if schools are open.<\/p>\n
