Preparations for our school\u2019s beloved, annual Winter Concert are in full flow. Through the Fine Arts curriculum, students are learning new songs, singing as part of an ensemble, and building confidence as performers. Classes are developing skills such as listening, cooperating, and presenting together on stage.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, November 18, PAC is treating all students to a free hot chocolate at lunchtime. This will take place\u00a0outside under the tent, rain or shine.<\/p>\n

STAFF PARKING LOTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please remember that the two parking lots located on either side of the school are staff parking lots only. Please do not enter these parking lots at any time. Students are present in these areas before and after school. By limiting traffic in these areas, we are protecting our children. Thank you for working with us to maintain student safety.<\/p>\n

FINE ARTS GLOW GALLERY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The students have been working hard on creating a beautiful and collaborative \u2018glow gallery\u2019 in Fine Arts. The gallery is open to\u00a0families and guardians\u00a0after school from\u00a02:30 pm and 3:30 pm on November 18th<\/sup> and 19th<\/sup>, so students can proudly share their glowing creations. Come take a look!<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Students will have the opportunity to shop for small gifts for family and friends. Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf85<\/strong>\u00a0Santa\u00a0Mall\u00a0is Coming to \u00c9cole Maple Ridge Elementary!\u00a0<\/strong>\ud83c\udf81<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re excited to bring back our annual\u00a0Santa\u00a0Mall, a heartwarming school tradition that inspires students to experience the joy of giving!<\/p>\n

Students are invited to make a small donation (usually between $1\u2013$5) and then choose two special gifts\u00a0for family members. Donations will go towards funding new stage curtains for our school Fine Arts program.<\/p>\n

The items available for students to select range from household treasures and self-care goodies to books, jewelry, and more. All items are donated by our generous school community\u00a0and organized by our wonderful volunteers.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to encourage students to give to others without expecting anything in return.\u00a0While we recognize that not all families celebrate Christmas, we believe that learning to share and show kindness is a meaningful value for everyone in our school community.<\/p>\n

Students will visit the\u00a0Santa\u00a0Mall\u00a0on December 8\u20139, and teachers will share your child\u2019s exact time slot soon. Gifts will be lovingly wrapped by parent volunteers and Grade 7 helpers\u00a0before heading home.<\/p>\n
