February is Black History Month. Students have been learning about Black scientists, politicians, activists, and artists who have left their mark on Canadian and American history. The range of activities learners have been engaging with encourages curiosity and nurtures multicultural awareness and respect for diversity.<\/p>\n

MRE CELEBRATES KINDNESS MONTH IN FEBRUARY <\/strong><\/p>\n

February is Kindness Month! At MRE we will be encouraging students to participate in various kindness activities.\u00a0 One way to show kindness is for students to work on completing the Kindness Bingo Card (below).\u00a0 Students who complete their Kindness Bingo Cards will get their names placed on the Kindness Bulletin Board near the office.\u00a0 Please look over these acts of kindness and encourage your child to be thoughtful about who they can be kind to, and when they can complete each act of kindness. It\u2019s not a race to complete the card, as they have all month to do so.\u00a0 MRE… where Kindness and Respect Matter Every Day!<\/p>\n
