We were spoiled with warm sunshine every day which made for some fun recess and lunchtimes. A huge amount of learning takes place during outside playtimes ranging from taking turns to managing emotions. Teachers regularly leverage children’s love of being outdoors and their need for space to move by incorporating outside time into their lesson plans through runs/walks, gardening, and trips to local outdoor learning centres such as this week’s visits to the fish hatchery.

NEXT WEEK

Monday, Nov. 20th:

Bookfair

6:00 pm: Grade 7 Leaving Parent Meeting in the library

7:00 pm: PAC Meeting in the library

Tuesday, Nov. 21st:

Bookfair

2:30 pm – Explorations Program for registered students

Wednesday, Nov. 22nd:

Bookfair

Thursday, Nov. 23rd:

Friday, Nov. 24th:

Snack Day (Tim Horton’s) for those who ordered

HEALTH AWARENESS

We are continuing to practice Health Awareness this year for everyone entering our school – this includes staff, students, and visitors.
